Terms of sale

1. Scope and seller

These terms apply to offers and agreements with Kostiantyn Bershov, trading as Made Lab, Diestsesteenweg 133a bus 201, 3010 Leuven, Belgium, enterprise number 0000.000.000, info@madelab.be, +32 494 03 86 92. Variations apply only when agreed in writing.

2. Quotation, design and order

A quotation describes the products or services, quantities, price, design work and indicative schedule. Unless stated otherwise, it remains valid for 30 calendar days. A contract is formed when Made Lab confirms the order in writing or receives the agreed payment.

For custom work, the customer checks and approves dimensions, wording, colours and design proofs before production. Minor variations in colour, texture and dimensions inherent to 3D printing are not defects where the product reasonably meets the agreed specifications. The customer warrants that supplied logos, models and materials may lawfully be used and do not infringe third-party rights.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are stated in euros. Made Lab uses the Belgian small-business VAT exemption scheme and therefore does not charge VAT while that scheme applies. Delivery, packaging and other additional costs are disclosed before the order. Payment is due by the method and deadline stated in the quotation or invoice.

4. Production and delivery

Production starts after all required information, approvals and any advance payment have been received. Time estimates are indicative unless expressly confirmed as binding in writing. The delivery method, costs and destination are set out in the quotation or order confirmation. Visible transport damage or an incorrect delivery should be reported promptly.

5. Consumer right of withdrawal

For distance contracts, consumers generally have fourteen days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase of a standard product. The consumer may email an unambiguous statement to info@madelab.be, stating their name, address, order, order date, receipt date and request date.

There is no right of withdrawal for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Made Lab will state before ordering when this statutory exception applies. Statutory rules on proportionate payment and loss of the right after full performance apply to services begun during the withdrawal period at the consumer’s express request.

6. Conformity and legal guarantee

New consumer goods benefit from the Belgian two-year legal conformity guarantee from delivery. In the event of non-conformity, consumers have the statutory remedies, including repair or replacement where possible and proportionate. These terms do not restrict mandatory rights.

7. Complaints, law and disputes

Complaints may be sent to info@madelab.be. Made Lab first seeks a direct amicable solution. Consumers may then contact the Consumer Mediation Service, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels.

Belgian law applies. Consumers retain the jurisdiction provided by mandatory law. For business customers, the courts of the judicial district of Leuven have jurisdiction where legally permitted.
